Mind Exercises Matter

Yes!  You can definitely train your brain to improve focus.  If you practice yoga, then you know that exercising some yoga postures and breathing exercises can help you to focus better.  Also, meditation has shown to benefit people by increasing their focus level.  Do you know that according to research, Buddhist monks who are meditating everyday for so many years, concentrate better on meditation and concentration tests?
  But if the above methods do not work for the restless soul themselves, then try to practice simple concentration.  There are lots of resources available online, but here are some things you can do to start:

  Pick up any book and make the sum of the words in a paragraph.  Then go to the next paragraph and calculate again.  Unless you complete the number of words on one or two pages, repeat it.  Due to doing this daily concentration can increase.  Think of an inspirational word or a sound like "oh" and focus on it for about five minutes.  Once you discover that you have guided all of your concentration on this word or sound, then try to concentrate for the next 10 minutes.
